Not five gloves for five different jobs, Just One.
We started by cutting everything that doesn't belong on a real work glove. Knuckle pads? gone. Touchscreen fingertips? gone.
Twenty years in this industry, and I've never once used , nor seen annyone, use or need a knuckle pad, unless you're planning on punching drywall for fun, yeah, go buy a glove with those.
Outside of that, it's really just dead weight and extra seams waiting to blow out.
And if you're checking your phone mid-shift, brother, you should probably just pull the gloves off, grab a glass of water, sit under a tree and just take an actual break.
Every feature we cut was one less point of failure.
Then we asked the only question that matters: out of everything a working hand runs into, what's worth protecting against?
We landed on three things:
Cuts. And that's not just blades, it's abrasion, maybe from a fall, from gripping machinery all day, from anything that shreds a glove from the outside in.
Liquids. This one nobody thinks about until it's too late. Get your hand wet from a leaking pipe while you're up on a roof, you have no idea what kind of microbes and parasistes could be actually festering in that water!
And that tiny pool of water can be the thing that gets you sick and infected for the next following weeks, not to speak of many other horrible stuff that could happen to you, or your family, i don't wan't to fear monger, but if it would interest you, just search about toxoplasmosis, and specially the effects of that nasty demon in children.
Lastly electricity: This is one was the final overkill pick, and we know it.
We hope to God you never need it, always work with electrical systems cold, no exceptions.
But mistakes and accidents happen, and being prepared is vital.
Here's how we built around those three.
The outer shell is genuine rubber, fully waterproof, not "water-resistant" dressed up in nicer packaging. Quick rant, because it matters: if a brand tells you their glove is "waterproof and breathable," they're also lying to you.
Rubber that's truly waterproof cannot also be breathable in the traditional sense. That's not how the material works.
So we don't pretend otherwise, we built for the real water-proof even with the trade off, we are also going to explain how we got around that...
Underneath that shell is the actual body of the glove: a nitrile lining that runs unbroken from your fingertips to the seal at your wrist.
Here's what that feels like on your hand: You slide it on, no cords, no laces, no velcro that's already losing its grip by day two, just slip it right in.
It seals almost like a surgical glove. The rubber shell closes down over the nitrile and seals every air gap, so water doesn't reach your skin, and it snuggly fits around every single inch of your palm and fingers.

Because there's a real gap between the nitrile and the outer shell, your own body heat has somewhere to go, it moves up toward the cuff!

The honest part. To get real waterproofing, real cut and abrasion resistance, and dexterity good enough to actually run a tool, something had to give ... and that something was ultimately, durability.
If pure toughness is all you're after, please, go buy thick cowhide leather gloves.
They'll outlast you. They'll also handle like a pair of oven mitts.
Here's why that tradeoff doesn't worry us, and shouldn't worry you either.
A buddy of mine years back told me he only ever wore nitrile gloves on the job, wore them, used them, tossed them, no ceremony about it.
That stuck with me, because here's the truth: every work glove on the planet is disposable, whether the company selling it admits it or not.
You already know the drill: soaked in paint or chemicals, cut through, fraying at the fingertips, seams blown out, sooner or later.
And along the way, your gloves touch things you don't want lingering anywhere near you or your family, years of buildup in a drain nobody's cleaned out, a roof gutter that's been collecting bird and cat waste since before you were on the job, engine grime, whatever's been sitting undisturbed in the dark corner you just reached into.
You were never meant to be keeping any glove forever.
Nobody should want to.
So we stopped pretending durability was the whole game, and built for reality instead.
But do not get the point wrong, the ZEUZ glove is still, a very formidable opponent in the durability and resistance realm, it truly just looses to the leater gloves, but we 100% assure you, The ZEUZ glove is tough enough to take a real beating, roughly three consecutive months of heavy-duty, daily abuse, the kind of punishment you'd put a glove through re-stocking a woodworking shop warehouse, carrying wood pallets and planks all day, then, fiddling with industrial sandpaper all night too.
Point is, Our Zeuz Glove are meant to actually take a beating.
Of Course... If you're a welder, or you're handling anything hazmat-level, this isn't your glove, and we won't pretend otherwise.
But for 95% of the everyday, domestic-level work you'll actually do, the Zeus glove is arguably the only general-purpose work glove you need in the drawer.

We're already working on the next version, an upgraded cut-resistant material, plus the option to customize color and add your own printed text, because if this becomes the one glove you reach for, for years, it should actually feel like yours.
